Our Programs – Samadhan Abhiyan

Samadhan Abhiyan operates through a multi-level intervention model that integrates awareness, prevention, legal support, and rehabilitation to build a comprehensive child protection ecosystem across India.

Since 2015, the organization has reached over 8 lakh individuals, including children, parents, educators, law enforcement, and community stakeholders.


1. Government & Police Engagement Program

Samadhan Abhiyan works closely with police departments, judiciary bodies, and government institutions to strengthen the implementation of child protection mechanisms under the POCSO Act.

Key Interventions:

  • Conducting structured POCSO awareness sessions for police personnel
  • Organizing joint workshops with law enforcement agencies
  • Supporting case handling awareness and sensitivity training
  • Facilitating coordination between community and police systems

Impact:
This program ensures that child protection is not only awareness-driven but also institutionally supported and effectively enforced.


2. School Safety & Awareness Program

Schools are the foundation of prevention. Our school-based interventions are designed to create safe, aware, and empowered children.

Key Interventions:

  • Awareness sessions on safe and unsafe touch
  • Education on child rights under POCSO Act, 2012
  • Training children to identify, resist, and report abuse
  • Workshops for teachers on early identification and response
  • Parent engagement sessions for home-level safety awareness

Builds long-term behavioural awareness systems within schools, ensuring prevention at an early stage.


3. Mission Shakti Collaboration Program

In collaboration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh under Mission Shakti, Samadhan Abhiyan delivers large-scale awareness initiatives focused on child safety and women empowerment.

Key Interventions:

  • Police-led awareness campaigns in villages, schools, and communities
  • Joint sessions with police officials and trained facilitators
  • Community mobilization for safe reporting and prevention

Impact:
Creates a grassroot-level awareness movement, reaching underserved and rural populations.

4. “Chuppi Tod, Halla Bol” Campaign 

This is the organization’s flagship CSR-driven awareness campaign, implemented in collaboration with corporate partners like India Pesticides Limited.

Core Philosophy:
Breaking silence is the first step towards prevention.

Key Interventions:

  • Mass awareness campaigns on child sexual abuse
  • Community engagement to encourage open conversations
  • Large-scale workshops for students, teachers, and families
  • Creation of Child Sexual Abuse Preventer (CSAP) volunteers

Impact:

  • Over 7.5 lakh awareness volunteers created
  • Awareness generated across urban and rural communities
  • Direct contribution to 8 lakh+ outreach

5. Child Friendly Centres 

One of the most impactful interventions is the establishment of Child Friendly Centres (CFCs) inside police stations under CSR projects.

As shown in your work, 6 CFCs have been established across districts such as Sahibabaad, Gorakhnath, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Sursa, and Kachhauna.

Core Functions :

  • Counselling sessions for survivor children
  • Medical assistance coordination
  • Legal support and court representation
  • Police coordination and case management
  • Assistance in documentation and compensation processes
  • Ensuring continuation of education
  • Family support and rehabilitation services

Awareness & Outreach through CFCs:

  • POCSO workshops in schools, slums, and communities
  • Training of Child Welfare Officers and police officials
  • Community-level awareness expansion

This model ensures 360-degree rehabilitation, combining:

6. Community Outreach Program 

Beyond institutional work, Samadhan Abhiyan actively works at the community level to ensure awareness reaches the most vulnerable populations.

  • Awareness sessions in villages and urban slums

  • Building community-based reporting and safety systems
  • Promoting early identification and prevention

7. Kalaripayattu Training Program (Under “Chuppi Tod, Halla Bol” Initiative)

The Kalaripayattu Training Program is a unique intervention by Samadhan Abhiyan that integrates traditional martial arts with child safety awareness, aiming to build both physical confidence and psychological resilience among children and adolescents.

This program is implemented under the flagship campaign “Chuppi Tod, Halla Bol”, in collaboration with CSR partners such as India Pesticides Limited.


Program Objective

To empower children with:

  • Self-confidence and physical awareness
  • Ability to recognize unsafe situations
  • Strength to respond and protect themselves
  • Courage to speak up without fear

Why Kalaripayattu?

Kalaripayattu, one of the oldest martial art forms in the world, is used as a tool to:

  • Develop discipline, focus, and body awareness
  • Improve reflexes and situational alertness
  • Build mental strength and confidence
  • Enable children to feel in control and empowered

Key Interventions

1. Self-Defense Training

  • Practical training in basic self-defense techniques
  • Teaching children how to respond in unsafe situations
  • Focus on escape strategies and alert actions

2. Body Awareness & Boundary Education

  • Linking physical training with understanding of personal boundaries
  • Teaching children to identify appropriate and inappropriate touch
  • Reinforcing concepts of consent and safety

3. Confidence Building

  • Enhancing self-esteem and assertiveness
  • Encouraging children to express concerns without fear
  • Reducing hesitation in reporting abuse

4. Integration with POCSO Awareness

  • Combining martial training with legal awareness sessions
  • Educating children about their rights under POCSO Act, 2012
  • Creating awareness about reporting mechanisms

5. Community & Institutional Sessions

  • Conducted in schools, community centers, and CFCs
